Project- The purpose of this project was to fully understand chemical equilibrium. First we had to learn about chemical equilibrium and what it was. After we got a better understanding each of us chose a topic to base our project off. We got to work on our projects both inside and outside of the class. We only had a couple weeks to do this. For each of our topics we had to find research about how chemical equilibrium corresponds to our topic. We also had to put our final project onto a social platform that one hundred people were able to see. I chose my topic to be depression. Our research including information such as the chemical formula, what the causes and affects were, etc. Each day we worked on our project in class we kept a log to include what our goals were for that day and reflect on what we had accomplished. At first we had a rough draft due after about the first week and a half for our teacher to be able to check in on our progress. Once we had showed the teacher our rough draft, she gave us critiques on how to improve our final project. With those corrections, we continued onto creating our social media platform presentation and final supporting document. The supporting document had to contain our sources in MLA format with a description of each of the sources. I decided to make a infographic for social media. Once I created my infographic, I was able to upload it to my Facebook. Since I had over 560 friends, the amount of people who were able to see it was well over 100. Also, some of my friends and family shared it so that all of their friends one Facebook could see it as well, pushing this image to spread very publicly. Finally we had to let the rest of the class comment upon our project and give us critiques as well.
Concepts:
Chemical Equilibrium- A chemical equilibrium is when forward and backward, the reactants are equal. When they are not equal or the reactants change, this allows it to not have equilibrium. From depression the levels of serotonin are low causing it to cause a dis-balance in chemical equilibrium mentally.

Reflection- I thought this project was very interesting. At first it was pretty difficult because I was semi-unclear of how we were to accomplish our ending project goal, but in the end it turned out to be very eye catching. I know I could have done better on my infographic with laying it out better because instead of planning it out with a grid before, I just added as I went. I also could have worked more at the beginning. I waited to do some of the largest parts of the project more towards the end which left me with a lot of work in the end. Overall I think I should have planned my project a little better. I knew this was a hard topic to fully get the chemical equilibrium point across, but I am truly passionate about this topic so I chose to persevere through it and just research a little harder. I thought I represented my topic well through my infopraghic. I wanted to show that this is a serious topic and people need to focus more on it. I also thought I did good on presenting it to the public. I was able to get a variety of people to share it meaning that a variety of different people were able to see it. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and I wish we had had more time to further on our topic. I wish had had time to really broadcast this, but overall it was a very interesting project.
